In October 2017, IDI President Emeritus Vamik Volkan presented two public lectures at El Bosgue University in Bogota, Colombia.  Dr. Volkan’s work in Colombia included training sessions on large-group psychology, meetings with the psychoanalytic community and representatives from regional NGOs and informal interview sessions with the public.  IDI Board Member Lord John Alderdice has also worked extensively in Colombia.
